Intimacy, Sexuality and Gender Center (ISGC) of Monterey

Stephen L. Braveman, LMFT, DST has been an LGBTQ advocate since 1992 here in the Monterey Bay Area. The Monterey Transitional Support Group meets once a month. This group is a safe and confidential support group addressing the needs of trans women, trans men, gender queer, gender non-conforming and intersex people. Pre-op, post-op and non-op warmly welcomed. Our group meets the WPATH Standards of Care. This group requires an intake appointment, so please call Wanda Braveman at 831.375.7553 for more information and to schedule your appointment.

Rainbow Speakers and Friends invites you to our monthly evening of friendship and support. More than ever, our community grows stronger and more determined to make each day better for everyone. We have lots of ideas to share so come add your perspective and hopes for bringing us together in active advocacy! 

Rainbows Over Seaside — Counseling for LGBTQ+ Adults

Community Human Services is now offering a free counseling and support group for LGBTQ adults, led by master’s level mental health clinician, Edgar Rondon. 

Sessions will be held alternating Saturdays from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at Family Services Center, 1178 Broadway Avenue in Seaside. This group will provide a safe space for LGBTQ individuals and their families to share their experiences in an anonymous, supportive and encouraging environment.
